Family night and honoring our veterans
This week’s meeting was a family night with brethren bringing their partners and us all honoring and celebrating the service of both our veterans within the lodge and veterans generally. Several brethren have served in the forces including one with one of our allies, the Belgium armed forces. A moving tribute to all veterans was delivered in the Scottish Rite Theater and copies of the Constitution were available to brethren and guests who wanted a copy.

Our Junior Past Master wore his splendid army uniform for the event and is pictured below.

Ahead of the meeting, the attendees dined downstairs on spiced Pork chops with scalloped potatoes and beans.

October Stated Meeted
The brethren gathered last night for the October Stated Meeting. There was lots of time for fellowship and socialising before the stewards served this week’s meal which had a British theme of “Toad In The Hole” which is sausages in a herb batter with onion gravy. Following the apple pie and ice cream, the brethren gathered in the Scottish Rite Theater for the meeting, including wishing two of the elder brethren happy birthdays.
Come along to one of our meetings on Tuesday evenings from 1700 (though we’re out next week at Parsons Lodge)

Called meeting and rehearsal
We held another well attended meeting this week where the brethren and guests got together to socialise and catch up with each other. Dinner was a home-cooked meatloaf with vegetables this week. Following the meal the brethren held a rehearsal for a forthcoming degree.
