Hill City Installation of Officers for the 2026-2027 year
The officers for the forthcoming masonic year were installated in due form last week. 48 people attended for a delicious catered meal followed by the installation ceremony. The Colorado Commandary No 4 were in attendance to provide an Arch of Steel and presentation of the flags.
There’s a busy year ahead with a comprehensive lodge program ahead, starting with a visit by the Grand Master next week to mark the lodge’s 150th anniversary.
Scholarship Night
We held a special meeting May 26th in which six well deserving students and their families and friends were presented with checks by the lodge to support their college education starting this fall. Over thirty guests and members dined and then attended a presentation ceremony in the theater where each student was presented with a check. Each had applied to the lodge and successfully navigated the review and diligence process. We also gave an award to a deserving teacher.
The awards are an annual event which the lodge is delighted to support.
