September Stated Meeting
We had another good attendance at our September Stated meeting on 7th September when once again the WM invited our wives and partners to join us for dinner and conversation ahead of the meeting. The Stewards cooked another delicious meal including salad and pot roast with vegetables. Amongst those attending were past masters, newer brethren, prospective members and visitors from other lodges.
Our next Stated meeting will be on 5th October when once again, all will be welcome.
Stated meeting and Hill City Ladies’ Club
August 3rd saw the first of our new format Stated Meetings where we invited our ladies to join us for dinner before the meeting, and to then enjoy some entertainment and socialising whilst we conducted our lodge business.The Hill City Ladies Club is an initiative by our WM and is designed to get our partners more involved in the lodge.
37 people attended the event and enjoyed a freshly prepared three-course meal prepared by our Stewards and also accompanied by music from a brother guitarist. The meeting was enjoyed by all and we will be repeating the format for our September Stated Meeting and beyond.
