Hill City Lodge hosts District MWSA meeting
It was Hill City’s turn to host the District Masters, Wardens and Secretaries Association meeting this week and a sizeable crowd met at the Scottish Rite Theater for the event. There were many interesting presentations on the agenda which was enjoyed by all. Once again the Stewards provided a tasty three-course meal ahead of the formal business of the evening.
Lodge service awards and initiation ceremony
Our regular meeting on 19th October marked a triple celebration. Two of our long-standing members who’ve now been in the lodge for 30 and 40 years respectively marked the occasion with a special dinner and celebration cake. Afterwards, with only just over a month’s preparation, a young team of our newer masons, all of whom are under 40, staged a wonderful initiation ceremony for our newest initiate. This was a great spectacle and a admirable effort by all that took part.
