A Fond au revoir to a long-standing Brother
The lodge met last night for a special dinner to celebrate the long service of Bro Charlie Stewart who is about to move to the Masonic Retirement Home in Arlington Texas. The brethren enjoyed great companionship with Bro Charlie, entertaining annecdotes were exchanged and Bro Charlie was presented with a medalion by the lodge.

Strong attendance for Raising ceremony
We welcomed 35 brethren (and a service dog with its own apron!) to our meeting last night where one of our latest initiates was Raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason. Beforehand the brethren dined on a meal of sausages, onion gravy, biscuits, potatoes and vegetables prepared by our stewards.
In common with our mission, an increasing number of the roles in the ceremony were performed by the younger/newer brethren.
Congratulations to the candidate and thanks to all that attended and helped out!
Come and join us at a future meeting.

Preparations for Raising next week
The lodge continued to meet again this week for the final rehearsal of the Third Degree ceremony which will be performed by a team that includes many of the younger masons in the lodge. With grateful assistance from the District Instructor, the lodge now looks forward to two ceremonies over the coming weeks. The Brethren met for a dinner of Tacos and Apple Pie and companionship, followed by a successful rehearsal.
Come and join us next Tuesday 29th March for dinner at 1830 and the Third Degree ceremony at 1900.
